J C Designs has a very active apprenticeship programme and over the years we have provided opportunities for young people to come in with us to learn ‘the trade’ whilst benefiting from our extensive in-house expertise, mentoring and support and at the same time gaining a qualification to help them take the next step in their career.
It is very gratifying when we get feedback from our old apprentices after they have flown the nest and we recently had this lovely communication from one of our old boys … “I’ve been offered a new role at a (local) company … (I) wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone at JCD for giving me that breakthrough into the IT industry. Without that experience I certainly wouldn’t be where I am now … ”
