Cyber threats and scams

Read about our case study and find out how we achieve our results!

… the weakest link in the security chain is the human operators!

So every employer should advise and train all staff to…

Be vigilant for unexpected links and attachments in emails.  Viruses will often be disguised in normal documents or even images so if you’re not expecting it don’t open it.

Do not open attachments which you do not trust or respond to emails that look suspicious – if necessary contact the sender to verify what they have sent.

Avoid unknown web sites, and be VERY cautious about clicking on anything which pops up when on a web site.

Be very wary of emails that appear to be from a bank! Never send any details via email. There are lots of scams using email address spoofing asking for payments to be made, they usually find out who is in the accounts department and target those people.

Always err on the side of caution!!!
