Free Systems Surveys

During a free two-hour survey, we analyse the current state of your systems so we can accurately advise on improvements and identify security gaps and disaster recovery concerns.

Remote and Onsite IT support

  • Regularly scheduled site visits to carry out support.
  • Ad-hoc site visits where required.
  • Full remote IT support services, even when the server is turned off via remote access iDrac and iLo cards.
  • Real-time support ticket status available to all team members with Igloo, our in-house logging system.
  • Efficient use support time with Igloo which contains all historical support ticket information and forms a database of resolved issues. This is useful as a reference for us and can cut down support time used considerably.

Proactive Maintenance

  • Varying levels of monitoring are available, including full hands on server/workstation checks, together with an automated email alert service.
  • In-house monitoring tools, which in most cases allow us to identify and fix problems before they are noticed by clients.
  • Advice on hardware warranties and replacement – we keep records of customer server warranties and support agreements with hardware vendors enabling us to advise on the best course of action to keep you covered. This can be via warranty extensions, and when the servers reach end of life making considerations for a managed replacement.

Compatible Procurement

  • Continuous training and research to stay up-to date with emerging technologies.
  • Extensive research to determine the best equipment for individual needs.
  • Multi-platform demonstrations of equipment suitability.

To ensure we advise on the correct equipment to purchase, extensive time is spent documenting customer requirements and researching their exact needs. This will often involve onsite meetings, teleconferences, and webinars to demonstrate equipment and services. We continually strive to stay up to date with what is on offer to our customers by attending training courses, trade shows, and demos.

Microsoft Certified Engineers

Engineers at J C Designs are constantly training and staying up to date with Microsoft certifications as well as other certifications such as Apple qualifications, CompTIA, Unifi.

The team have various Microsoft qualifications including MCP (Microsoft certified professional), MCSA (Microsoft certified systems administrator), MCSE (Microsoft certified systems Engineer).

IT Help Desk

Our help desk is open weekdays 9 – 5.30, with an out-of-hours emergency call service for customers with mission-critical systems.
